Anse Caraïbes

Located before the town of Pointe Noire, this beach is vast and popular with divers. The black sand reflects the ancient volcanic activity of this area.

It's leaving Pointe-Noire, direction to La Malendure

Leroux Ferry Beach

Small sandy beach, beautiful snorkeling spot

It's direction Deshaies, right after Petite Anse Beach

Petite Anse

Petite Anse

Petite Anse Beach

Petite Anse beach is a tiny beach with light sand, quiet, perfect for resting after a few walks.

Direction Ferry Deshaies, it's just after the fishing port of Baille Argent

La Malendure Beach

La Malendure Beach

La Malendure Beach

It is the best known in Basse Terre because it is the "Cousteau reserve", all the nautical activities are present there... for my part, I like snorkeling and going to see the turtles from "the little Malendure" at the bottom to the right of the beach

On the N2, on the left when leaving kazAnne, allow 15 minutes to get there... be careful, all parking lots are subject to charges

Grande Anse Deshaies Beach

Grande Anse Deshaies Beach

Grande Anse Deshaies Beach

The largest beach in Basse Terre is in Deshaies, more than a kilometer of golden sand, be careful, the waves can be dangerous and the beach is not supervised. Lots of restaurants and food trucks around and on the beach, not to be missed

Take a right when leaving kazAnne, follow Deshaies and you will be there in 25 minutes, the car parks fill up quickly.

Trois Rivières Beach

Trois Rivières Beach

Trois Rivières Beach

Trois Rivières beach has the blackest sand in Guadeloupe, very beautiful view of the Saintes

It is the southern tip of the island, direction Basse-Terre by the N2, or by the Route de la Traversée then the N1 towards Trois Rivières, still allow 1h15 to 1h30 drive to get there
